terms, deliveries and returns
Introduction
At the naked soaper, we pride ourselves on delivering handmade cosmetics made from natural ingredients or ingredients derived from natural materials.
1. Ordering
You can open a customer account if you are of 18 years of age or over. By placing an order on our website, you agree to give:
Your real name
Your e-mail address
Your billing address
A delivery address (this maybe the same as your billing address)
A contact phone number (in case we need to speak to you about your order)
Once you have placed an order, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of receipt of said order, and then order will be dispatched as follows:
If the order has been put in on Monday – Friday before 12pm GMT the order will be dispatched same day
All orders received after Monday – Friday after 12pm GMT will be dispatched the next day
The available stock for each product is confirmed in our online shop as applicable. If due to any issues any product is not in stock we let you know as soon as possible after the order has been placed. If we are expecting the item soon, we may send it in a separate parcel after your main order has been dispatched.
Once you are ready to check out, you will be directed to the shipping confirmation page where you may select the type of delivery, and the delivery and/or billing addresses.
After placing your order you will receive an automated acknowledgement.

2. Delivery
If the order has been put in on Monday – Friday before 12pm GMT the order will be dispatched same day
All orders received on Monday – Friday after 12pm GMT and on Saturdays and Sundays will be dispatched the next day
2.1 Within UK (Including Northern Ireland and islands)
Free standard delivery for orders over £40
Standard delivery (2 to 5 working days) – £3.95
Express delivery (1 to 2 working days) – £5.50, £2.00 for orders over £40
2.2 Outside of UK
REPUBLIC OF IRELAND International standard delivery (3 to 6 working days) – £7.95
FREE delivery for orders over £60

3. Data protection and privacy policy
Any personal information you provide to the naked soaper directly (via email) or via our website and from which you can be identified is stored securely and confidentially, and will be processed fairly and lawfully.
We do not share your information with any third parties for any reasons with the exception of the postal service providers to allow them to deliver your order.
4. Events beyond our control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event).
A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes but is not limited to:
- Strikes or other industrial action.
- Civil commotion, terrorism or threat of, war or threat or preparation for.
- Fire, explosion, adverse weather conditions, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster.
- Disruption to supplies or delivery methods.
- Acts of government or regulatory bodies.
- Disruption to public or private telecommunications networks.
5. Arrangements
After placing your order you will receive an automated acknowledgement by email. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm acceptance to you by confirming that your order has been dispatched.
Once we accept your order, a contract to purchase and deliver products takes effect between you and the naked soaper. You pay the sum that you see at the end of the checkout process, together with the delivery charges when making the order. Products will be at your sole risk from the time of delivery to you onwards.
6. The Contract
When we confirm acceptance of your order by confirming the products have been dispatched, a legally binding contract will exist between us. If we do not confirm acceptance we will refund your payment.
Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a product. If we believe a customer acts against these terms, we reserve the right to cancel or suspend their order.
This includes non-payment of ordered products and fraudulent use of our website and/or sales. We also reserve the right to bar certain email addresses and telephone numbers from accessing our website to place orders. We will not accept an order from any customer who we have suspended.
Ownership of the products will only pass to you when we have received full payment.
A person who is not party to the contract shall not have any rights under or in connection with it.
7. Resale
By ordering from our website, you agree not to commercially resell any of our products. Commercially reselling our products is a breach of these terms and conditions and your agreement with us.
8. Payment and Security
We do not hold your credit card data. You can pay for your order with PayPal and credit/debit card through PayPal. You can pay with any cards accepted by PayPal.
Payment will be taken in GB pounds (£), and if applicable, your card will be charged according to the exchange rate at that time.
Please do not post debit/credit card details, cheques or postal orders to us.
9. Prices and VAT
Our prices, as stated on our website, are in pound sterling (£) and include VAT, where applicable. You will be charged in pounds sterling even if you don’t live in the UK. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time. Overseas orders may incur bank charges for international transactions. Please note that offers are subject to availability and may end before originally advertised.
Where you have requested delivery to a UK or EU address, the price paid for the product will usually include VAT at the applicable rate.
If you have requested delivery to a non-EU address, the products will normally be zero-rated and not subject to UK VAT, however the total amount charged for your order will not change.
10. Cancellations and Returns
We dispatch orders as per Art 2. Delivery of these terms, so if you want to cancel an order without incurring a cost for returning unwanted items to us, you will need to do it before your order is dispatched. If you do want to cancel an order, please write to us using the contact form here. If you would like to change anything about an order we would recommend that, in the first instance, you email us using the contact form here to avoid having to pay for delivery again.
If for any reason you change your mind, we are happy to offer a refund on all goods returned to us within seven days provided they are in their original condition, unopened, unused and undamaged. Due to hygiene reasons we cannot offer a refund or exchange on any product which has been used. Postage is non-refundable.
11. Damaged parcel
We do our best to make sure the products will not be ruined during delivery, however sometimes the parcels can be damaged in transit. If your parcel arrived damaged, please send us an email using the contact form here quoting your order number and including a picture of the damaged goods. Please note that all of our products are handmade and 100% natural and can vary slightly from batch to batch.
