Frequently Asked Questions

All our products are vegan with the exception of the honey soap which contains real honey. Please check the ingredients list before purchasing any product.

Most of our products are safe for people with allergies, however we recommend you read the list of ingredients before purchasing to make sure there are no ingredients which might give you an allergic reaction.

Natural soap is softer than store bought soap and will easily dissolve if it’s kept in water.

Keep the soap in a soap dish with holes or ridges to allow the water to drain off and the soap to dry. This will help the soap last longer.

Some people use the soap to wash their hair however, due to the different pH of the soap you have to use a vinegar rinse to decrease the pH of your hair after washing. A vinegar rinse is made by mixing 25 gr of apple cider vinegar with 75 gr water and putting it in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture on your hair after washing it, let it act for a few minutes and then rinse it off.

Soaps made cold process (no “cooking” of the soap to speed up the saponification of the oils) need 4-6 weeks to cure. During this time the saponification process which creates soap and glycerine from oils/butters, water and lye finishes, the water evaporates which makes the soap harden and become longer lasting, and the pH will slightly drop making the soap milder.

Yes. You cannot have natural soap without lye. The lye dissolved in water reacts with the oils/butters during the chemical reaction named saponification and soap and glycerine are created. In a correctly made soap there won’t be any lye left in the soap after saponification. The formulas are calculated to ensure all lye is consumed and you have only soap and glycerine. Soap without lye is either not natural soap but synthetic detergents (the majority of melt & pour soap) or it has already gone through saponification.

The products are valid for at least 12 months from the moment you purchase them.

As the products are personal care items we cannot accept returned products. Our products are scented with essential oils which are true to nature so please give it a very good thought before you purchase.

All cosmetics are hand-made and it shows in the soap designs. Each bar has it’s own design and character, but it doesn’t make it any less better.

No, the sugar in the scrub will dissolve and it will not clog your drain pipes.

As the hair and body oil is made solely from liquid oils you need just a bit to go a long way. Pour the equivalent of a peanut in your hands, let it warm up and massage it into your skin. Add more if needed and give it time to absorb into your skin. If you massage it on damp skin, after having a bath or shower, the oil will absorb faster.
